In August 2015 my sister and I and Ethan visited Linda when she was in Northwood Care Home in Halifax Nova Scotia.While we were there Linda and her friend Susan decided we would have an early Xmas day at Susan's flat.We arrived at Susan's flat and found she had decorated with A Xmas tree with all the lights and decorations.We had lovely Xmas lunch cooked by Susan and we all exchanged presents,After lunch Susan asked Ethan if he would like to go for a swim in a nearby lake which wasn't far away she said,so of we set to this lake with Ethan and I sharing the pushing of Linda in the wheelchair,unfortunately Susan had forgotten how to get there and a mile and half later after some tiring pushing we arrived at the lake and Ethan and Susan had a swim it was a lovely sunny day for Xmas.We only had to push the chair about a mile back because Susan had remembered the way,just before we arrived at Susan's flat a wheel on the chair broke and I only just managed to stop Linda falling out,we had to call for emergency transport to take Linda back to Northwood,an unforgettable Xmas day in August thanks to Susan,I think!!!.Of course typical Linda thought it was hilarious.
